Project Selection - My Decision

I have chosen to do the magazine project because its something that I have never done before, and I feel as if it is something I would enjoy to learn more about. I would get to learn about how to design everything and to also take photos and write articles. This seems much more interesting than the filming project.  Some skills I posses that make my choice the best fit includes my photography skills and ability to work a camera. Another skill is have is being able to organize and design, which will help with the magazine layout. A factor that played into my decision was the freedom of what you can put into the magazine. You get to choose the articles and photos that go along with them and also how the magazine is designed. With the magazine project, I would be creating the first four pages and outlining the rest, making sure to include all the advertising, articles, and photos. The genre that I am interested in doing is a sports magazine. I will work in a group with three other people. My group members are very skillful and will work hard. They can think critically and come up with any information we might need. Each member of the group will provide their own addition of the magazine.
